Beatrice Hamilton has opened JB Mapes & Co., an American bistro
and boutique at the Palladio, 50 N. Sierra St.
Hamilton also owns BeAbundant Home Decor on First Street.
Chef Kerry Tate's menu features seasonal ingredients prepared in an
open kitchen. A three-course, prix-fixe menu is available, with or without
wine pairings.
Current menu items include Riverdog Farm winter squash, barbecue
pulled heritage pork with pickled onion and jalapeno and dried cherry
coleslaw, and a burger with chipotle jam and lime salt chips.
There is a boutique with kitchen items and gifts, as well as pastry case.

In November of 2010, Studio 33 assisted Beatrice Hamilton and Kerry
Tate design and brand their new American Bistro and Boutique, JB
Mapes & Co. located on Sierra Street, just across from the Regal Movie
Theater. Kasey was able to use his graphic expertise to create an
original logo design, did the menu layout and printing, designed and
installed the window graphics on the front of the store, and even
assisted them in coming up with the wording "American Bistro and
Boutique". In addition to the design and branding of their business,
Studio 33 printed business cards, gift certificates, and take out menus.
